Computer Lab

To meet the needs of the modern age computer education is imparted to students from class 1st onwards. Computer is also offered as an optional subject in class XI & XII. Four well-equipped computer laboratories with 25 computers each (latest configured multimedia systems) have been provided for the students.

- Our Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs are well equipped with all modern apparatus and instruments.
- Well-trained Lab attendants are employed for the smooth functioning of Labs, which are quiet, spacious with arrangement of proper water supply and light.
- Labs are further furnished with illustrated charts, maps, working models and specimens for giving the students concrete and real view of topics concerned.

To develop the reading habits and to provide extra knowledge to students & staff, school has a fully furnished vast library containing about 12,000 academic, informative and general knowledge books. In addition to these there are a large number of reference books, encyclopedias. The library subscribers for various newspapers, weekly & monthly magazines and journals.

Hostel Facilities

R.E.D. School started the residential facility for the students & teachers in the year 1996. And now it has grown up and turned into a big family of 600 members including Boys & Girls students, teaching & non-teaching staff staying in about 200 rooms. Separate wardens have been given the responsibility to look after the students wing-wise and floor-wise. The teachers & students from different parts of the country belonging to various castes, creeds & religions symbolize the national ethos of "Unity in Diversity".
- Spacious and well furnished separate dinning halls for boys and girls are available where wholesome nutritious meals are served. Special attention is given to provide fruits, refreshments and milk to meet the extra need for the growing mind and bodies.
- Recreation Hall with latest audio-video music facilities is provided for the purpose of entertainment and rejuvenation of the students.
- The Day-Boarding & Residential staff take tutorial Classes for solving student’s problems.
- Medical Facilities are also available for the students for any exigency.
- A very efficient and good quality Laundry Facility is provided to the students.
- Time-to-Time Educational trips, Picnics and General tours are organized for learning & enjoyment and for a change of routine.

- Training in games, sports and athletics is imparted by highly qualified Coaches.
- Experienced NIS Coaches give special training in Athletics, Kho-Kho, and Volleyball.
- Annual Sports Meet is also organized along with various Inter House Competitions for the students of all categories every year.
- School has successfully organized CBSE Cluster XIV Kho-Kho Meet in the Year 2005.
- School has also successfully organized CBSE Cluster XIV Athletic Meet in the Year 1998 and 2008.
